New main depot for Prolift Access taking shape

Prolift Access boom and scissor lifts assist contractors working on the company’s new main depot at Westpark 26 in Wellington, Somerset

The new main depot for Prolift Access is really beginning to take shape in Somerset.

Prolift have exciting plans to relocate to impressive purpose-built premises at Wellington’s Westpark 26 business park – just off junction 26 of the M5 motorway – later this year.

The new development is just 500 yards away from the company’s existing base at Foxmoor Business Park, which has been their home during their first five years of operation.

But continued expansion over those five years has prompted the need to move to a larger HQ – Prolift have seen their hire fleet soar past 500 units and have opened additional depots in Cornwall, Hampshire and Bristol.

Several of the company’s powered access machines have been helping contractors work on the building and other developments on Westpark 26, including the petrol station and Budgens mini-supermarket along with Costa Coffee and Subway outlets.

The new depot, which will include state-of-the-art workshop and training facilities as well as new offices, is due to be completed in the summer.
