Prolift Access has taken its first delivery of telescopic handlers at its head office in Wellington, Somerset.

Purchased from Holt JCB, the new JCB 535-95 Loadall telehandlers join an ever-expanding hire fleet which has now passed 420 units.

Since being formed in 2010, the company has expanded across the South West and has opened two new depots in Cornwall and Hampshire.

Prolift celebrated its hire fleet reaching 400 units in October.

In the past three months, the company has seen its fleet further expand with the additions of new 60ft Niftylift HR21 4×4 articulated boom lifts, Skyjack SJ8831 and SJ8841 diesel scissors, and most recently the JCB telehandlers.

Prolift Access managing director Andy Pearson said: “We have been cross-hiring telehandlers for some time now, so we see this as a natural progression for our hire fleet.

“We have also placed an order for some new 12m telehandlers, which will give our customers even more choice.”

The JCB 535-95 telehandler boasts a compact wheelbase and large steering lock angles, giving it impressive manoeuvrability which saves valuable travel time on site.

With a maximum lift height of 9.5m and a maximum lift capacity of 3500kg, the 535-95 complements the 7m, 12m, 14m and 17m telehandlers already available for hire.
