Prolift Access has helped Waitrose complete the renovation of its fire-damaged Wellington store.
Two of our vehicle-mounted boom lifts helped workers safely reach the new canopy at the front of the supermarket as they added the finishing touches.
The Somerset store was devastated by an overnight fire in July, which caused an estimated £1million in damage and forced it to close for nearly a month.
Waitrose has now rebuilt the canopy and created a new entrance, which has changed the car park layout and expanded the store by around 7%.
Our vehicle-mounted boom lifts offer a powered access solution that the customer can drive away and get the job done with the minimum of fuss.
With a working height of 19.8m (65ft), the VM60 used at Waitrose offers 9.5m of outreach and has a load capacity of 200kg.
