Prolift’s diesel scissors provided safe work platforms for the international street artists at Upfest 2016

The urban street art and graffiti festival saw more than 300 international artists work their magic on buildings in the Bedminster and Southville areas of the city.

Prolift’s Bristol depot played a key role in helping the artists reach new heights while they painted their huge and spectacular murals – watched by around 25,000 visitors.

The powered access company supplied a range of their Skyjack diesel scissor lifts with platform heights ranging from 31ft to 50ft, as well as JLG 450AJ and Nifty HR21 diesel booms, and operators.

Prolift managing director Andy Pearson said: “We are always happy to help out great events like Upfest which get the whole community involved.

“It was fantastic to see Prolift’s machines helping these talented artists work at height safely and create their stunning displays for everyone to enjoy.”

Prolift’s Bristol depot opened in February 2015, and supplies an extensive range of booms, scissors and telehandlers across the city as well as Bath, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire and South Wales. For any powered access enquiries in these areas, please call the depot hire desk on 01173 160490.
